Kylee never was one to just sit around and be bored. Anyone who knew the young woman knew that. She was always doing something whether that something was jamming with her band mates or getting into trouble with her friends or even getting wasted down at the clubs. It was just something you expected from her. And tonight was no different. Ky was dressed to perfection and strutting from the bus lots to the streets of the city.
As she entered the smoke filled room she coughed only once before her smile spread across her lips. This was home to her. She pushed through the crowds to the bar and ordered up a drink. She downed it. Another Drink. Downed it. Another. Gone. And another.
By now she was pretty buzzed. She was feeling good and she turned to lean against the bar and survey the crowd tonight. She'd already shooed a few hopeful guys off and she was sure she'd have to do it some more. She only had eyes here recently for one guy. Her friend. Her close friend. And not only that. Her co-worker in a way. The singer of her very own band!
She shook the thoughts from her head. They were friends and that was it. So she ordered up another drink, a beer this time, and drank it casually, sipping instead of chugging it. She sat, still watching the crowd and waiting for someone to claim her attention. click

It had been a fairly long day. Work wasn’t Zacks strong point and five hours studio practice was more then enough for him. He didn’t know why he needed to practice,he was a fantastic drummer. He woke up not in the best of moods and really it would have been better for all concerned if they just allowed him to skip the meeting and let him just cool of on his own. But no, he couldn’t and people had paid the price.
So to unwind, Zack had decided to go to the club tonight, with one aim in mind for tonight and that was to drink, relax and not have any social interaction. The first two he had managed and currently sat in the Club knocking back some light drinks. It changed though as he spotted fellow band mate Kylee wonder in. For now he ignored her and tried to not draw attention to himself but as the minutes ticked by he was getting increasingly bored until he had to have some form of company.
Looking around Zacks eyes fell onto Kylee again, she would do even if he had spent most of the day with her already. Wondering over he dragged a stool towards her and sat down. Smiling faintly as he stared at her a moment before speaking. “Drunk yet?” he asked which was as good as ‘hey, how you doing’ for Zack. She should know that he was not the greatest at conversation, not pleasant ones anyway.
Ordering a drink he didn’t say much else to her, it was a little awkward really with what he had called her early on that day. He should appoligise for that really… “Sorry.” He mumbled giving her a quick side glance before staring at his pint. He didn’t think it needed explaining, and she wasn’t going to get anything more sincere.

Kylee had been sitting alone for a while, biting off guys as they came up. She really wasn't a slut or a whore but she had enough guys interested in her to be one if she wanted. This was only because she was famous. Seriously. Become part of one of the worlds biggest hits and you'd have men up your ass twenty four seven. Yet now she noticed a man approaching that she narrowed her eyes at lightly. She was sure she'd have to shoo him off but for different reasons.
She was in a good mood tonight. She didn't want Zack bringing her down. With what he had addressed her as earlier, the mere site of him irritated her right now. He was a great drummer and all but that didn't give him the right to be such a jerk. They were band mates. He ought to have at least a little more respect for her than that.
Lucky for him though, Ky didn't hold a grudge. So when he apologized, she nodded and a few seconds later a small smile lingered on her face. She watched a young girl on the dance floor and almost laughed at her. She must have been about seventeen, obviously she had had to sneak in. She was trying way to hard.
She tapped Zack on the shoulder and pointed to the girl, laughing lightly. "look at that one eh?" she laughed and winked at him. "Wonder how many guys are actually buying that act.." She grinned and drank some more of her drink. It was odd how Zack and Kylee were in the same band. They were so so very different. Kylee was so happy and out there and she rarely saw Zack smile or laugh.

Zack didn't like being touched, even the tap on his shoulder made him stiffen a little. He glanced to where Kylee was pointing though and soon forgot about reminding Kylee of the rules and instead focused on the teenager. "She looks like a spaz." Zack said as he watched the girl 'dance'. Strangest dance he had ever seen, not something you would ever get taught at a dance school or by a instructor. Zack liked dancing enough to know what was good and what wasn't, not that he would ever admit to it as he didn't seem like the type that liked anything, much less dancing.
A faint smile was on his face and he picked up his drink and turned to watch the show. It was very tempting to shout something out to her but Zack held back. He didn't want to be thrown out and you never knew what reporters were around who would just happen to capture the moment. It might get Kylee chucked out as well, and God knows he wasn't exactly in her good books right now so he really didn't need any more black marks. "They shouldn't let kids in here.." Zack said with a shrug and looked to Kylee again, it was bad enough seeing them at concerts. Zack really didn't like kids, he was never going to be a family man as children just irritated him far to much. He preferred doing the older shows, getting a more mature audience and being able to do things in the show that otherwise wouldn't be allowed.
"So where is your other half?" Zack asked turning back to the the bar, meaning Jameson. He hardly saw Kylee without the guy being somewhere near. Half the time it seemed like the band was a duet with the way they acted.

Ky felt Zack stiffen ever so slightly as she touched him and she rolled her eyes at it. Him and his silly little rules. Seriously. They lived on the same bus. He'd seen her wander around the bus in nothing but her underwear and a bra and he had issues with a small tap on the shoulder. It was silly in her opinion but a lot of things were silly to her. She was pretty wide open and out there. Kylee was possibly the funnest person to hang out with from Zero Percent.
She chuckled at his comment and nodded. She and Zack had their moments when they were on the same page and this was one of them. His comment about children brought a shrug from her but only because she was two years older than him and so she viewed him as young as well. Though she had to admit he didn't act young at all. He acted older than her. Mentally, Ky was the kid.
She straightened slightly as Zack asked about and referred to Jameson. But she relaxed instantly. Jamie was her best friend after all. So she shrugged and took a swig of her drink. "I don't know. Maybe back on the bus IMing his little fan girls." she laughed lightly and drank again. Ky was a total lush. She drank too much for her own good and one could argue that she was even an alcoholic on some level. But it didn't matter to her. "Why do you ask?" she questioned calmly and casually.

That sounded possible, though why Jameson wanted to talk to the fans, Zack had no idea. He was glad to get a few hours break from the screaming girls. It made him happy to be the drummer, positioned towards the back off the stage and more or less out of direct sight. Zack played purely for the music, not the fame or to be known. He wouldn't care if they never made it big or on tour, the fact they had was a bonus.
"You two are normally joined at the hip, just making sure he is not dead or something." Zack said with a shrug, somehow making even a caring question seem like he was being a jerk. Maybe he was poking fun a little but no harm was really meant by the comment. If Zack wanted to really be a jerk then he wouldn't be subtle about it. Really though it did annoy him the way Kylee acted around the guy, being all hyper and mad. It was exhausting and Zack was only watching it, often when he was trying to get some sleep.
Finishing of his pint, Zack stared at the now empty glass, sighed and looked to Kylee again. You would think being so 'famous' he would have more money. But it seemed getting drunk was a expensive hobby that he couldn't afford so talking would have to replace drinking for the night.

Kylee shrugged at his sentence and looked at him. "He's my best friend." she said nonchalantly. Sure she wanted more but she wasn't willing to risk their friendship by telling him this. What if it freaked him out and he decided he wanted nothing to do with her outside the band? Shit what if it broke up the band? She couldn't face that. So she kept it to herself.
She looked over as Zack finished his drink and looked at her. She lifted a brow and turned to the bartender. "Two more." she said lazily. Ky had come from a rich family and thus money was no issue for her. She knew Zack wouldn't really like her paying for his drink but she didn't care. She didn't want to drink alone. So as the drinks came she pushed one to him and grabbed her own.
"I can't wait for the first show." she said absent mindedly. She lived to be on stage. it was her passion.

Zack stared at the glass for a moment before placing a hand round the base. He didn’t like charity, anyone paying for a drink for him much less a girl. If they were buying everyone a round of drinks then fair enough but Kylee was just showing off her wealth. At least Zack took it that way, still he wasn’t going to refuse the drink as that would be waste seeing as she ordered it without even asking him. Not that he thanked her for it, just gave her a glance that was neither happy or annoyed and just kind of plain before he focused back on the drink and took a gulp.
He couldn’t say he shared her enthusiasm for the first show but then Zack always got pre performance nerves. When he actually got drumming he seemed to snap into the rhythm and enjoy himself. It was one of the few times if you actually looked that you would see him smile, but smiling didn’t fit with his well rehearsed mask so he never admit to enjoying the performance. “Why? We done shows before, this one wont be any different to the others.” Zack said with a shrug, not really bothered that they were actually touring for these rather then playing at a club.
“You nervous?” Zack asked turning to face Kylee. Thinking about it first shows were often the bigger ones. The thing to kick the tour off so there could be far more people then they normally get.

Kylee shrugged at Zack. She knew that he didn't really share her passion for preforming. It was her life and at times she felt like the guys just viewed it as a hobby. At first Jamie had been about as stoked as she but lately she felt like he just wasn't into it as much anymore. She sighed and looked back at Zack and raised her brow lightly.
"Zack...how many times have we put on shows before?" she started. She chuckled lightly. "Do I ever ger nervous?" she asked sarcastically. She never did. It just wasn't her thing. She was used to the screaming crowds and she was used to the limelight. She wasn't one to feel butterflies before a show. And if she did it was because she'd eaten something wrong the night before but that was a whole different ball game.
She drank some more and turned to him. "Are you nervous?" she asked. Now that she thought about it, Zack might have been one of the most important members of Zero Percent. Drummers often didn't get enough credit. Without them there was no beat. Sure Ky was a RHYTHM guitarist but she couldn't set the beats that Zack did. It just wouldn't be the same with out him.
This thought made her shoot him a small smile. "You know what..." she began. "I never really tell you how good of a drummer you are. I mean. You probably already know this...but still. Doesn't hurt to tell you every now and then." she said with a nod. Okay sure the alcohol was getting to her and she was being a little rambly but the thought and sincerity were still there.

Zack frowned a little, hoping that Kylee would say she was at least a little nervous about the first show. He didn't like to think he was being a wimp and worrying for nothing, if another felt the same then he wouldn't mind so much. Could rub it in the other persons face and tell them not to be stupid, but Kylee seem over confident, not that it was a bad thing but it did annoy Zack. "I don't know." he mumbled leaning over the bar, staring into his drink before gulping down some of it, he never asked anyone how they felt before a show before to know.
Her question made him sit up though. “N-no. Why would I be?” he said quickly. If Kylee was ok about it then he was to, sort off. Better after more alcohol. Probably wasn’t the best idea to drink your problems away but it was the easiest solution right now so Zack just downed more beer. It would be a while before he was drunk at all, hopefully he get a little numb though.
The next part caught him more off guard and he stared at Kylee, genuinely surprised at what she said. He knew he was a good drummer, he told himself it all the time but it was different hearing it from her. Blinking her cleared his throat and finished off his drink, well, it was a little awkward to hear. Did she expect him to say thanks or return the compliment? It might be a little late now given then silence.. “Right..” Zack said frowning again, and shoved the empty glass to one side. “…im bloody fantastic actually.” He added with a faint smirk, glancing to Kylee, not just good, he was epic even.
“Does that mean I can skip practice tomorrow?” he asked, he planned that he was going to sleep in so didn’t want to get up early if he was a good drummer as he didn’t need to practice.

Kylee looked over at him and grinned. "Hey now." she began, her tone cute and teasing. "I'm a talented guitarist and you don't see me cutting practice." she said, smiling at him. It was pretty unknown why Kylee was trying to be so social with Zack. They didn't ever really talk too much. Maybe it was the alcohol in her blood. No one knew but for what ever reason, she was acting all buddy buddy with Zack. "Come on Zack...we get paid to play our instruments and preform and have a hell of a good time! Why would you want to skip that?" she asked, slightly serious but still smiling.
She finished her drink, actually pretty drunk by now and turned to Zack. Damn on this buzz and in this dim light he looked hot. But she just chuckled it off and dismissed it. Even drunk she wasn't stupid enough to think about hooking up with Zack. They were band mates, barely friends, and he would rather mess with guys as far as she knew. Plus given the fact that even drunk, Ky was not the type to hookup with someone. No. She was simply acknowledging the fact that Zack looked very attractive right now.
She shifted her eyes and looked around, wondering if anyone else she knew was here. She smiled as she saw a few fans who had met her backstage and waved at them. The three girls squealed excitedly as their surrounding friends stared in awe that the blonde guitarist had recognized and even greeted them. Ky was very much about her fans. Without them she would be nothing.
She turned back to Zack and sighed as she gazed at him. "Well I'm bored." she sighed. She tilted her head and tried to think of something to do but really came up with nothing.

That was probably a no then. Not that Zack needed Kylee permission, it was half a joke when he asked to skip but now the thought was in his head it made it more tempting to ‘accidently’ ignore the alarm clock and miss half a hour or so. Unless one of the other guys in the band woke him up, stupid tour bus was so damn small you couldn’t shut yourself away anywhere. “I don’t call practice ‘having a good time’.” Zack mumbled with a frown, it was to much like school work for him, and God how Zack despised school. It wasn’t just the bullying he got, but the whole structured, do this, do that way of things.
Looking to Kylee, Zack smiled faintly seeing how drunk she already was. Zack wished he could be buzzed on such little alcohol, well, maybe not. It would mean getting drunk earlier in the night and Zack liked to drink into the night not get pissed and spend it with a headache or throwing up. At least Kylee was a smiley drunk, giggly as well. Well so long as she didn’t start singing or dancing on the tables then Zack could cope with hyper/drunk girls.
Nodding Zack was bored as well, not nearly drunk enough to be able to not care how bored he was. “Want to go for a walk?” Zack asked, it was a cool night so would be nice just to wonder the area. It was getting to stuffy in the club for Zack anyway.
