It was hard when you liked people but disliked crowds. Really the two didn’t fit well together. As much as Dante liked company, he enjoyed his own time more so. Most might get bored when they had nothing to do, scared even by the idea of having a whole day to themselves and no way to spend it. But it was the little things you got that Dante liked about being alone. He could just take things at his own pace, not worry about being later for something or to early. Or having to meet someone, be dictated to by what they did and wanted. Sure he like going out with friends but it was such a hassle really. Thinking about it, Dante was sure that made him seem damn unsociable, so it was a good job he never complained in front of his friends.
He liked watching people more then talking to them. It might seem a little creepy but if you actually stopped and watched the world then you saw stuff that anyone else would miss. Like the squirrels running up and down the trees, or that artist sketching. So they were not the best examples but it was a slow day, and Dante had only been sitting in the park for half a hour.
Glancing around he sighed, staring down at his cup of coffee before lifting it to his lips, blowing into the slit in the lid, then sipping from it. Still to hot.. Taking the lid of he placed it down on the bench next to him, hoping it would cool quicker. Not that he was in a hurry, but he was a man of routine and needed his caffine fix before he could think about writing any new songs. That was the whole reason he came to the park, to relax, reflect and write some new material.
Tapping a pen on his notebook, he sighed again, sipped from his coffee and scribbled down a few words.
