it was the middle of the day and lauren was just rolling out of her bunk. not that she didn't do that just about everyday. being on tour was fun and stuff but it sure was messing up her sleep schedule. her internal clock would probably be messed up for the rest of her life. not that she minded much, being able to play music for the rest of her life would be just fine with her, even if that meant her internal clock would be forever messed up. so instead of rolling out of her bunk and jumping into the shower she went and grabbed her guitar from it's usual spot and sat at one of the couches towards the front of the bus. she was feeling so lazy that she didn't even change out of her pjs. it seemed that the rest of the band and crew was up and about for the day lauren was the only one left on the bus for the day. she should have gotten changed and been walking around with the rest of the band taking care of whatever needed to be done for the day but instead she was in her pjs with her guitar in hand. maybe later she would jump in the shower and fix herself up so she looked presentable for the day. though she was pretty sure that either one of her bands mates or their manager would come and drag her off the bus eventually, pjs and all.
sitting on the couch with her guitar and the notebook that was filled with song lyrics and guitar chords she made sure that her guitar was tuned by simply picking away at the strings. she wasn't really sure what she was going to do but she would at least make sure her guitar was tuned first before anything. eventually she decided that she would just mess around with some chords to see if they would fit the lyrics that she had been writing. lauren wasn't ready to show the rest of the band the lyrics she had been working on until she was sure that they were perfect. not that anything she wrote was ever perfect enough for her. she always felt that there was always something else that she could do to make her lyrics be amazing. if she worked on the lyrics as much as she wanted though oh star wouldn't have any songs to perform during their sets. that was just the kind of girl that she was. lauren was dedicated to her music, it was pretty much one of the only things that she had left in her life. she had been making decent progress on the song that she had been working on when suddenly one of her strings snapped. "shit, just what i need." when the string snapped it hit her cheek and she was pretty sure that it had left a mark. hell it might even be bleeding a little bit since it was the really skinny e string that had snapped. "stupid strings." mumbling to herself about how stupid her guitar was and how evil the string was for snapping her in the face lauren went around the bus looking for spare strings. she knew there had to be some around and she wouldn't stop until she found them. Drugs were bad. Everyone knew this. So why people did them was beyond Stephen. Even though he himself was a drug addict. He would never admit that though. He always said he could stop when he wanted but he wouldn't be able to at all. He was hooked and as much as he denied it, he was a true blue drug addict. Today he had snorted a line of crack and his high was causing him to bug a little bit. He stumbled out of the smoky hotel room and coughed lightly. He sniffed and rubbed his nose before looking around and heading in the direction that he thought the busses were in.
His clothes were slightly wrinkled from all the partying that had gone on in that room last night. He had gone from the club, to some babe's car, to the bus, to getting interupted, to the hotel room. When they had finished and redressed, she called some friends as did he and they partied even more. She had had weed in her bag so they had hit that like crazy all night. This morning he woke up near sober and that just wouldn't do. So he had hit the cocain and then left.
HA! He was right! There were the busses. He adjusted his sunglasses and pulled open the door to his bus and barged in. He paused though as he looked around. This was NOT his bus. He saw a smoking hot girl though and he smirked and eyed her as he pushed his shades up on top of his head. "Well hello." he started. "It's times like these I'm glad I forget which bus is mine." he flirted with a wink to the cute girl in the PJs. He noticed that she held a guitar and this impressed him. He noticed the broken string and he cleared his throat as he shoved his hand deep in his pockets and pulling out a bag of strings. He always kept them just in case. "Just pick the one you need gorgeous." he said with a chuckle.

lauren was pretty much in her own world, so when the door to her tour bus opened she really didn't pay any mind to it. she figured that it was probably one of her band mates of maybe one of the crew members. when she heard a voice that she didn't recognize she got scared and turned around quickly. "shit you scared me. don't you know it's rude to barge into other people's tour bus?" brushing her bright orange hair out of her face she then realized that she was still in her pjs, and the guy had just called her gorgeous, lovely. adjusting her shirt she looked at the guy standing in front of her and realized that she recognized him. he was a member of one of the bands on tour but she really couldn't remember which one. watching as he pulled out a bag of strings he smiled. she didn't know who this guy was but he was her new hero. "amazing. you're my freaking hero right now just so you know. i've been looking for strings for the longest." looking through the bag until she found the skinny e string that had broke on her she pulled it out and sat down on the couch so she could fix her guitar.
looking up at the guy that had so rudely stumbled onto her bus lauren was curious as to who he was. she had seen him around at least one or twice before but her memory was failing her at the moment and she had now clue who he was. so do you always stumble onto buses that aren't yours or is today just my lucky day?" looking back down at the guitar she quickly fixed the string and made sure that it was in tune. she had changed strings on her guitar so many times that she could probably accomplish the task with her eyes closed. which just went to show that she had broken strings on her guitar many times before. "my names lauren by the way. or you could just call me laurie like everyone else does." really she preferred it when people called her laurie. she wasn't really sure why but it was just one of those nicknames that had always just stuck with her. Stephen grinned lightly at her as she spoke to him. He watched her sweep away her orange bangs and looked at his feet, only a simple chuckle escaping his lips. He glanced back up at her and watched as she found the string she needed. "I'm not a hero. Just a fellow guitarist." he commented with a shrug. He looked about her bus and sighed lightly. It was most certainly more kept up with than his bus. My Apocalypse wasn't exactly known for being the most tidy or well groomed band on the tour. Actually they were FAR from that. They were probably the wildest and dirtiest guys around. They lived to party hard and play their music and hook up with random street sluts. He allowed his gaze to return to the orange haired girl before him as her voice met his ears again.
He smiled a toothy smile and shrugged. "I've never been very good at keeping up with where we park." he commented between small chuckles. "But I'm pretty glad that of all the busses I could have barged into...I picked the door hiding a beauty." okay. yes. Stephen was flirting big time but thats what he did. Especially when he was high. As she introduced herself, Stephen smiled and nodded. "I'm Stephen. Stephen Grant of My Apocalypse." he replied. "Great to meet you Laurie." he coughed lightly and nodded again. "I'm always down to meeting new guitarists." he commented. "How long have you been playing then?" he asked with a charming smile. Oh yes. High, drugged up Stephen was much more social and fun and likable then broody little sober Stephen.
